About Syed Muhammad Munir ul Haq
Hello, my name is Munir ul Haq, I am a fine art photographer and digital graphics artist. I live by the sunny port-side city of Karachi, Pakistan.
I got introduced to art and science at an early age. My visits to local and international galleries & museums gave me an understanding of the true power of art - a form of power that has an impact, can affect change. It can not only move us but it can make us move [Ossie Davis].
I have a degree in commerce; I am fully conversant in technical drawing, drafting, polymers, computer hardware and digital graphics.
I am thankful of my parents, my father in particular, who, having a Masters in printing from the UK, passed on his knowledge to me. I am grateful to galleries, showrooms and the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs Madison, USA), for featuring my work, so that it may reach a larger audience, specifically those with an eye of appreciation.
Self-taught, I am grateful to my family & friends, cinematographers, photographers, artists, DOP’s, professionals of the showbiz industry for imparting their wisdom and knowledge onto me.
My strong background in computer hardware and digital graphics has enabled me to develop my own unique brand of art; amalgamating various mediums and techniques in printing and laser art.
Having widely traveled (eighteen countries and counting, in Asia, Middle East, Europe, North America and Far East) I have managed to successfully create a portfolio, which I strongly believe showcases not only the different moments preserved in time but also the uniquely dynamic beauty of our world and the people in it that require each other’s respect.
I am frequently invited by Nikon/Camtronix Pakitsan in their events as a Featured Photographer or as a Guest of Honor.
I thank all of you visionaries for taking time out to see my work. I hope that it serves to move and inspire you.
In the end, I would like to say one thing; we are all tiny colorful dots in a painting called planet earth. Let’s make it a nice one.
Please note all of my works, including my SMMH logo are protected under Copyright Law. Copying, re-working in any form/s is not permitted. Please do contact me for your requirement/s or should you wish to discuss all or the above copyright issues.
Thank you and God Bless.
